About Us
Barbara Sitsch
Barbara Sitsch is dual board-certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over twenty years of clinical experience. She believes effective psychiatric care begins with understanding the whole person, recognizing that emotional and physical health are closely interconnected.
Her practice emphasizes thoughtful evaluation, individualized treatment, and collaborative decision-making. Barbara works with each patient to understand not only what symptoms are present, but why they have developed and what treatment approach is most likely to lead to meaningful, lasting improvement.
She intentionally maintains a limited patient panel, allowing the time necessary to provide personalized psychiatric care tailored to each patient's clinical needs.
Why A Limited Practice Panel
Barbara intentionally maintains a smaller patient panel so she can provide thoughtful psychiatric care with appointments tailored to each patient's clinical needs.
This approach allows the time necessary for careful evaluation, individualized treatment planning, meaningful discussion, and continuity of care. Rather than maximizing patient volume, her focus remains on delivering high-quality psychiatric care that is responsive to each patient's circumstances.
